Beautiful mountain escape with year-round activities.
— Proma R.

This farmhouse-chalet is a Tardis/Narnia experience - as you approach it, it doesn't look as big as it is inside. When you enter, it opens up into a magnificent Cathedral-type living area with a triple height ceiling. Each of the windows offer beautiful views of the surrounding trees and mountains. There are many beds and a lot of space to lounge around comfortably in. The fireplace is magnificent, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there are multiple supermarkets (SuperU, Carrefour) within short driving distance. And a cheese shop across the road which also sells milk and eggs. I have been back to visit multiple times, with friends and family, since my first visit in 2014, and will definitely be going again.

Met All Our Family’s Expectations for Recreation and Rest
— Ariel L.

Our stay at The Farm was perfect. The house is big yet comfy and sits in a charming authentic Alpine French village. We had access to skiing and ice skating a mere ten minute drive from the house, and we were able to use the local ski areas and lifts which were significantly less crowded than other ski resort areas of France. The drive from GVA Geneva international airport was one hour. Pay attention to renting and leaving from the Swiss vs. the French exit of the airport. The house was beyond our expectations for spacious comfort. More bathrooms than we needed. An enormous well stocked fireplace. Roomy bedrooms. Wonderful well stocked kitchen and dining area. The kitchen had top of the line major appliances, plus small appliances and pots, pans and dishes. The house had washer and dryer. The village had a delicious bakery, a butchery, a pharmacy, a few restaurants, ski equipment rentals, and of course a grocery. The house is a short drive from other small charming villages, the city of Cluse, and other nearby ski and tourist areas. Lots of local winter AND summer open air markets, fairs, lakes – short driving distances. During the Spring Summer and Fall we used the surrounding areas for hiking, berry picking, lake swimming, fishing and admiring all the quaint small farms and family gardens and architecture. Would not hesitate to recommend this property!

Beautiful home, spacious, comfortable, every detail taken care of. Amazing alpine setting!
— Miryam F.

I have stayed in this property several times- it is the perfect place to arrive, unwind, relax, and recharge. Every room is spacious and the furnishings are comfortable and beautiful. It feels like a high-end home, not a crummy vacation rental or hotel. The open kitchen is so great for after a day of sport- the entire group can hang out and enjoy drinks, cook together, prep, eat, and be social. The living room with its giant fireplace and modern comfy furniture and is perfect for big conversations over a glass of wine, group games, relaxing, and just being together. Each bedroom is cozy and lovely, and the bathrooms! I got to enjoy a deep spa bath after a long day hiking, so sweet. There are lots of extra spaces and mezzanines for the kids to play games or watch TV separately, there's a space to practice yoga, and lots of little reading nooks. Everything we needed for a great stay was there, and the host was available with recommendations and to help us decide what fun things to do in the area. Can't wait to come back, and highly recommend!

Luxury alpine retreat

Magnificent house, a great mix of local tradition and luxurious living.

We have spent several holidays in this amazing house with our family of nine people. Lots of skiing and other winter sports! Outside the ski season we’ve done paragliding, rafting, parkour climbing and hiking.

The village is cosy and very friendly. There is a local cheese producer with a small shop on the other side of the main road. Bus stop is within walking distance and during the ski season the ski bus to Morillon and Samoens stops there several times a day. The nearest telecabine is in Morillon village (5 mins) with a spacious parking place. There are also many of other activities in the valley year around: a lake with a beach, parkour climbing, mini golf markets and plenty of festivals and other happenings almost every weekend and Wednesdays in the surrounding villages! However, in this house you are not disturbed by the noise and hustle of the people and music.

The house is spacious. We spent last Christmas there with 14 people and never felt too crowded even with all the winter gear! The house would also serve well for workshops or small seminars with many cosy different corners to work in smaller groups.

The big fireplace is special. It was the favourite place for our kids to sit and read a book on the warm big stone.

Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking big and the kitchen table easily sits 14 people.

Wonderful hosts, quick response to any questions and always helpful in every way!
